D’Brickashaw Ferguson is a retired NFL offensive tackle who played ten seasons for the New York Jets.

For former New York Jets offensive tackle D’Brickashaw Ferguson and his wife Kirsten, it was love at first sight. Three years later, the two became husband and wife.

Everything that Kirsten dreamed of as a little girl was coming true.

“You meet your husband—the love of your life—you move into a beautiful home, and then you have children and you live happily ever after…that was my mindset,” Kirsten reflects.

Though Kirsten was ready to jump into parenthood, D’Brickashaw wasn’t sure he was ready. But neither of them were ready for the challenges they were about to face in starting a family.
