New York Jets wide receiver, Brandon Marshall started off his NFL career with everything he had dreamed of: fame, fortune and football. However, one thing was missing: clarity.

Brandon found that no matter how much success he gained in football, no matter how much money and attention he acquired, he wasn’t at peace. More than that, his marriage was falling apart and he felt that his life was spinning out of control. He needed something greater than himself.

Bombarded with the noise and messages from the media, coaches, and distractions around him, what Brandon needed to here was the still small voice of God.

“A great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper…” – 1 Kings 19.11-12

Brandon started to pray for God to bring clarity into his life.

“And one day,” remembers Brandon, “in a place where you’d never imagine it to happen, God spoke with extreme clarity to me. The one thing I had prayed for was finally being given to me.”

Since that day, Brandon’s life has been changed. God has given him a new perspective on life and how to find clarity amidst the chaos.
